EducationAfter Southeast I attended Metropolitan Junior College which was located across the street from Westport high school for one year.
In September 1965, entered the U.S. Navy and spent time in Washington state and California before being sent to Viet Nam attached to the Seabees in the I Corp region. Came back to Kansas city in 1969 and attended UMKC, graduating in 1971 with a BA in Social Science.
Professional LifeBecame employed with the State of Missouri-Department of Social Services in 1974 and worked downtown until being transferred to St. Clair County in 1975. Stayed there until 1997 transferring to Dade County. Retired from state government in 2003. In 2005, became employed with City Utilities of Springfield as a Utility Worker.
I'm commuting daily to Springfield from the Lockwood area
Family LifeHad a short lived marriage in the mid 1970s before meeting and marrying Renee the love of my life in 1981. We raised our 2 children Brandy and Megan on a 350 acre farm in St. Clair County outside of Lowry City. Renee has been employed with the Missouri Department of Conservation for over 20 years.
Hobbies & InterestsCommuting to work is quite time consuming and upkeep and maintenance on our Lockwood farm keeps us both busy. We have 3 grandboys who live nearby and are always available to come over to hunt and fish.
